Question by thepermitman: Can a person really make a career being a personal trainer?
I mean I know the aspects of personal training. You take a class, get certified, and so on. I know you can upgrade yourself by doing more classes, but there is a point where you need a 4 year degree to progress to sports medicine and physical therapy. But can a person make a decent living being a good personal trainer?

The answer is yes, but it will take hard work. You would literally be self-employed. Which means you will need to market yourself to get enough clients, determine your hourly rate, etc, etc.
